Michael S. Rubin
Michael S. Rubin iis member of Goldberg, Mufson & Spar. His practice areas include local government law, land use, employment law and commercial litigation. He is currently counsel to the Township of Bloomfield Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. He previously acted as counsel to the Borough of Caldwell Zoning Board of Adjustment. Mr. Rubin also appears before Land Use Boards on behalf of applicants. He is the Immediate Past President of the Local Government Law Committee of the New Jersey Bar Association. Prior to entering private practice in 1989, he acted as special counsel to the Jersey City Board of Education in the initial school takeover case, and was a staff attorney for the Education Law Center, where he litigated the landmark school funding case, Abbott v. Burke. Mr. Rubin was an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School from 1992-93.
